Robert Pattinson's $12 million Dior deal is just a rumor -- for now

Robert Pattinson may be a big enough star to sell a fragrance thanks to the "Twilight" films, but the widely reported story that the "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" star has already inked a $12 million men's fragrance deal with Christian Dior isn't true.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Dior's press office says no contract has been signed despite false reports from various media outlets that Pattinson's (nonexistent) lucrative deal topped that of Brad Pitt's reported $7 million for his Chanel No. 5 ads.  

That's not to say, of course, that one couldn't be coming. The press office says the reports were just rumors and had no further comment. Pattinson's camp has yet to respond to the rumors.

Pattinson's "Twilight" co-star and supposedly on-again girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, has already bagged her own fragrance deal for Balenciaga's Florabotanica scent.
