Reese Witherspoon in talks for Michael Buble duet
Reese Witherspoon could soon be picking up the microphone again. The actress won an Oscar for her performance in "Walk the Line," a role which required her to record music, and now reports are claiming that she could be returning to the studio for a duet with Michael Buble.
Us Weekly has the news that the new mom is in talks to record a song with the Canadian singer. Considering Buble's track record and the current time of year, our bet is that it could be some sort of Christmas jingle, though it could be something else entirely.
Considering she already took voice lessons for "Walk the Line," this shouldn't be that hard of a shift for Witherspoon. But she did call that experience "the most challenging, horrifying experience of [her] life," so maybe she just wanted another challenge after she gave birth to son Tennessee James on Sept. 27. Either way, we're intrigued by what a collaboration between her and Buble will sound like.
