QVC host Cassie Slane faints on live TV; host Dan Hughes rolls with it

Over this past weekend, there was a spot of trouble during a QVC presentation. Cassie Slane, a guest host who comes on the home shopping channel to sell a kid-friendly tablet, starts grabbing at her chest and then appears to pass out.

As she goes down in co-host Dan Hughes' arms, the camera cuts to a shot of the tablet and Hughes keeps right on talking about it, with no mention of the incident. Which ... is kind of weird, but you know the ABCs of sales -- Always Be Closing.

There aren't many details about what exactly happened. Slane posted to her Facebook wall, "Thanks to everyone for your kind words. I am feeling alot better today!"

And fellow QVC host Carolyn Gracie responded to a fan on Facebook, "Cassie is fine now, thank goodness! She had a couple of fainting spells due to low blood sugar. Poor thing. She is such a nice girl. Thanks for your concern!"
