Phillip Phillips sings national anthem at World Series: What did you think of the 'American Idol' winner's performance?

"American Idol" champ Phillip Phillips opened the first game of the World Series with a simple, moving rendition of the national anthem.

Strumming on his acoustic guitar, the Season 11 winner seemed unfazed by the spotlight as he took to the field at San Francisco's AT&T Park.

That doesn't mean he wasn't nervous about opening the showdown between the Giants and the Detroit Tigers:

"Gaaaaaaahhhhh leeeeeeeee that was nerve racking!!" he tweeted after the performance.
