Matthew Morrison sings national anthem at World Series
FOX has a pretty deep musical bench, with its plethora of music-themed TV programming. While "American Idol" Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips showed off his skills during Game 1 of the 2012 World Series, the network recruited "Glee" star Matthew Morrison to take over national anthem duties for Game 2.Is Morrison a Detroit Tigers or a San Francisco Giants fan? We won't know based on his attire, because he opted not to pledge his allegiance to any team in particular by wearing a simple tan blazer over a light blue button-down.

So, how'd he do? The Broadway vet opted for a simple version of the song, unadorned by vocal runs, or even accompaniment (he, like most anthem singers, went a cappella).
What did you think of Mr. Schue's national anthem? How did he compare to Phillips' version (or any of his other turns at the iconic tune)?
