Lindsay Lohan to do Barbara Walters interview - report

Lindsay Lohan has agreed to do a one-on-one interview with Barbara Walters, TMZ reports.

According to the celebrity news site, the sit-down will take place in the next few weeks.

The troubled starlet rarely agrees to serious interviews, but she'll likely be doing the promotional rounds soon for "Liz & Dick." The Lifetime biopic, in which she stars as Elizabeth Taylor, premieres on Lifetime next month.

According to TMZ, Walters is likely to hit on the similarities between LiLo's own career and personal struggles to those of Taylor, who also navigated the tough transition from child stardom to serious actress.

The interview is likely to air next month, pegged to the Nov. 25 premiere of "Liz & Dick."
