Lindsay Lohan: Cops called on Michael Lohan over intervention attempt

Police were summoned to the Beverly Hills home of Lindsay Lohan when, according to TMZ, her father Michael Lohan tried to stage an intervention. It was reported earlier Lindsay was a no-show for some post production work on "The Canyons."

Michael reportedly believes Lindsay "has fallen off the wagon" and arrived to her home with a group to intervene. Lindsay did not come out, but a man claiming to be her boyfriend told the group to leave.

TMZ says police were then summoned to the scene over a trespassing report.
