Leeza Gibbons threatened, harassed by fugitive Peyman Babalavi

TV and radio personality Leeza Gibbons has has recently been targeted by a fugitive from justice in a rather bizarre and scary story.

Peyman Babalavi faces criminal charges for allegedly harassing Kean University professors in New Jersey, where he was a student. He failed to appear in court and became a fugitive.

But in the meantime, law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Babalavi has sent 20 threatening Facebook messages and four threatening emails to GIbbons over the course of the past year.

In the messages and emails, Babalavi refers to her as an "ugly whore" and insists she owes him millions of dollars and a couple of BMWs. The LAPD currently are handling Gibbons' part of the case. Babalavi is still on the run.
