Kristin Chenoweth still recovering from 'life changing' injuries on 'Good Wife' set

Kristin Chenoweth was injured by falling lighting equipment on the set of "The Good Wife" back in July and she tells People that she's still recovering from her injuries.

"When the accident happened to me on July 11th, my mom had to fly in. I was in trouble and I needed help," says Chenoweth. "I said, 'Why me, why me, why me, why me?' and she said, 'Why not you? You're human like everyone else. Things happen. You're no special or worse than everyone else.'"

Chenoweth says it was "life changing," but she's focused on "things that really matter."

She also details the extent of her injuries -- "About three weeks ago I found out I have three cracked teeth from the accident. I have neck issues and a five-inch skull fracture, [but] that's healing. [I'm] doing great and moving forward."
