Eva Longoria splits from Mark Sanchez

Well, that didn't last very long.

Actress Eva Longoria, 37, and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, 25, are no longer an item, a source confirms to E! News.

"Eva and Mark split amicably and remain friends. There is no drama," says the source. And a rep for Sanchez adds, "Mark and Eva continue to be friends and are both focusing on their careers."

The two reportedly began dating back in June and the rumors began swirling shortly thereafter. They officially came out as a couple in September.

Perhaps Sanchez just couldn't concentrate enough on football -- his Jets are 3-4 and Sanchez has back-up QB Tim Tebow just waiting for his shot.
