Demi Lovato sings national anthem at World Series finale
The San Francisco Giants swept the Detroit Tigers at the 2012 World Series, making game 4 the finale. Demi Lovato joined a host of Fox darlings -- Zooey Deschanel ("New Girl"), Matthew Morrison ("Glee") and Phillip Phillips ("American Idol") -- in singing the national anthem to open the game.
Demi sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at last year's game 5 between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals. So, how did she do this time around?
The "X Factor" judge may not have been given a "yes" by Simon if this was a San Francisco audition. Her performance was a bit try-hard, as she attempted to incorporate too many vocal acrobatics. Lovato started off on a solid note, but got pitchy and heady as she escalated through the verses.
What do you think of Demi's performance? If this was an "X Factor" audition, would you send her to Hollywood?
