Britney Spears loves big earrings, free makeup and plays Candy Land with her kids

Britney Spears is on the cover of the latest Lucky Magazine, and inside the mag the singer/reality show judge opens up about her more-normal-than-you'd-imagine life, which, when she's not on TV, includes gardening and playing with her two sons.

"I work out. I swim. I play with the kids, I cook and I garden. We play Connect Four. We play Candy Land. Last night we read 'The Night Pirates,'" she tells the magazine of her day-to-day life.

Of course, being a superstar gives you plenty of perks, like free makeup and clothes, but Spears is a fan of the simpler things in life. She uses Pantene Pro-V shampoo and washes her face with Clearasil.

It's hard to explain to her children that she's also a global superstar, but Spears says they're starting to understand. "They're in the middle right now of trying to figure it out. They try to figure out where I go when I go to film 'X Factor.' They're like, 'Mommy's going off to be a superhero.' And then I get back, and they just see me as Mommy. And then when I'm back working on the show, they say, 'Oh, Mommy's a superhero again!' "
