Box office: 'Argo' beats Halle Berry and 'Cloud Atlas' on Friday
"Argo" is on track to top the box office again, earning nearly $4 million on Friday, Oct. 26, beating out new releases "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D" and "Cloud Atlas."
The latest "Silent Hill" horror flick came in second on Friday with $3.5 million, while the Tom Hanks/Halle Berry/million other famous people epic "Cloud Atlas" was close behind with $3.45 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.
Rounding out the top five were another scary movie, "Paranormal Activity 4" ($3.1 million), and "Taken 2" ($2.6). "Hotel Transylvania" came in sixth with $2.55 million, "Sinister" was seventh with $1.75 million, followed by "Alex Cross" ($1.7), "Here Comes the Boom" ($1.6) and "Pitch Perfect" ($1.4).
