Bobbi Kristina not engaged to Nick Gordon, says rep

In a recently-released clip of "The Houstons: On Our Own," a new Lifetime reality series chronicling the lives of Whitney Houston's family members, there is a shot of Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina saying that she and Nick Gordon, a family friend, are engaged. Cue the newspaper headlines!

But a rep for Bobbi Kristina tells CNN that the two are not engaged. The rep does not add any more details, just teases, "You have to watch the show!!!!"

So, way to earn some publicity for your new show, Houstons. "The Houstons: On Our Own" premieres Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
