Bob Ross honored by Google Doodle for 70th birthday
Bob Ross just got one of the best 70th birthday presents a person can ask for. Google has honored "The Joy of Painting" creator and host's birthday with a special Google Doodle on the search engine's home page.
During his time, Ross was one of the most recognizable television personalities around. His show, which aired on PBS, helped teach American viewers painting techniques. Ross would have turned 70 today had he not passed away in 1995 from lymphoma.
Of course, if you heard about Ross recently, it probably was because of a YouTube video that has made the rounds. Called "Happy Little Clouds," the video is an auto-tuned remixed of some of his lessons. It's been viewed over 3.5 million times.
