Bam Margera apologizes for holding a gun to his puppy's head

Bam Margera truly is a "Jackass." The prankster best known for his work with Johnny Knoxville reached a new low when he posted a photo on Twitter, holding a gun to his pit bull puppy's head.

The caption read: "Penny pooped in my bed. Not too fond of that. If it happens again, Penny goes Bye Byes!"

After a story aired on the local news in Philadelphia, where Margera lives, he issued an apology - sort of. "I feel like every follower I have on Twitter knows my 'Jackass' joking kind of humor," he tells the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Bam still hasn't removed the photo from Twitter, and his followers increased by 30,000 in the wake of the puppy prank. "All press is good press," he says.
