'The Talk': No makeup for the ladies during the Season 3 premiere

Per host Sara Gilbert's suggestion, the ladies of "The Talk" went on the air for the Season 3 premiere without an ounce of makeup. Their guests, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Stafford, Melody Thomas Scott and Katherine Kelly Lang, also joined in the fun.

Julie Chen tells ET in an interview about the no-makeup show, "This one date has forced all five of us to take care of our skin and teeth. I haven't bleached my teeth in seven years -- I called my dentist, I'm like, 'I need a bleach!'"

And Gilbert adds that it's created an even great sense of camaraderie.

"To be in a group of people that are willing to do that together is really cool," she says. "It shows that we're willing to show parts of our lives that not everybody's willing to show. We really are girlfriends and because we feel safe with each other, we're willing to show more of ourselves to the public."
