'The Newsroom's' Alison Pill tweets nude photo: Her topless tech error

On Aaron Sorkin's HBO hit "The Newsroom," executive producer MacKenzie MacHale accidentally sent a (very very) personal email to the entire network. Now, life imitates art as "The Newsroom" star Alison Pill, who plays ingenue Maggie on the series, had a bit of a tech SNAFU herself.

On Wednesday, Pill accidentally tweeted a topless selfie photo, sprawled across her bed, wearing nothing but a smile and some hipster glasses -- and sent it out to over 13,000 Twitter followers. 

"Yep. That picture happened," she tweeted after immediately deleting the photo. "Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."

At least her fiance, Jay Baruchel, seemed to take it all in stride. "My fiancee is an hilarious dork. #imustgladitdidnthappentomefirst," he tweeted. "Smartphones will get ya. CC @msalisonpill #vivaludditism."
