'The Killing's' Billy Campbell rescues men on capsized boat

Billy Campbell, most recently seen as Seattle mayoral candidate Darren Richmond on AMC's crime drama "The Killing," is a bit of a hero this week. TMZ is reporting the actor rescued three men stranded at sea after their boat capsized.

Campbell was sailing his new schooner from Nova Scotia to Rhode Island Monday night (Sept. 10) when he noticed an overturned boat floating in Buzzard's Bay, off the coast of Massachusetts. He saw three men clinging to it and stopped his boat so he and his crew could bring the men aboard.

Reportedly, the capsized boat had no emergency lights and the men had no way to signal for help, so it is lucky indeed that they were found by anyone. The men have been treated for hypothermia, but are otherwise OK.
