Taylor Swift teases new single 'Begin Again' on 'Good Morning America'

taylor-swift-begin-again-gi.jpgTaylor Swift previewed a new single from her upcoming album "Red" on "Good Morning America" Monday (Sept. 24) -- and get used to hearing about that for the next few weeks.

Swift and "GMA" are teaming up to tease songs from "Red" for the next four Mondays, with the full songs going on sale on iTunes the following day. Monday's preview was for "Begin Again," which you can easily read as a slower-tempo companion to her current smash "We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together."

"It's about ... when you've gotten through a really bad relationship, and you finally dust yourself off and go on a first date after a horrible breakup," Swift says.

The brief piece of the song "GMA" played includes a couple of country touches absent from the super-poppy "We Are Never" and these lyrics: "I think it's strange that you think I'm funny 'cause he never did. I've been spendin' the last eight months thinkin' all life ever does is break, burn, end. But on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it begin again."
