Liberty Ross walks in Alexander Wang show at New York Fashion Week

Liberty Ross put on a brave face and some killer clothes at New York Fashion Week, walking the runway for Alexander Wang on Saturday (Sept. 8).

"To be honest, I was totally terrified," Ross tells The Cut after her surprise appearance in the show. "I hadn't actually been out of my house for seven weeks, so I was really anxious. But it felt amazing."

Seven weeks might be overshooting it just a bit, though, being that Ross, 33, has been spotted recently at the premiere of "Lawless" and out and about in Los Angeles (minus her wedding ring from husband Rupert Sanders). But given the summer she's had after photos of Sanders kissing Kristen Stewart surfaced in July, we'll cut her some slack on the overestimation.

As for why Wang cast her in his show, the designer says, "Because I love her and I support her."
