Emmys 2012: Heidi Klum likes 'a high slit'

"Project Runway's" Heidi Klum would have made a statement on the Emmy red carpet Sunday (Sept. 23) night even if her dress hadn't had a slit that exposed pretty much all of her left leg. The fact that it did? Icing.

The recently divorced Klum, 39, wore a soft sea-foam gown from Alexandre Vauthier's couture collection which in its original form is entirely sheer below the waist. It was altered for Klum to have a opaque triangular panel over her pelvic region, allowing her legs to be the showstopper.

And not in an ostentatious Angelina Jolie way.

"I like a high slit; I like the color," Klum told E!'s Ryan Seacrest.

Can you blame her?
