Ellen DeGeneres gets Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday (Sept. 4), with her mom Betty and wife Portia de Rossi on hand, along with friends Jimmy Kimmel and Ryan Seacrest.

Ellen says, ""It is amazing. I spent my entire career trying to conduct myself in a certain way making sure no one walks all over me only to get to a point where people are going to walk all over me."

"I mean, it's Hollywood Boulevard. I think of the history on Hollywood Boulevard. Every time I drive down it, I think, Wow... I should have taken Fountain. This is so trafficky," she cracks.

Ellen's star is located in front of the W Hotel in Hollywood, which is just down the street from famous intersection Hollywood & Vine. Ellen's talk show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," returns with new episode Monday, Sept. 10.
