Donald Trump blames Kate Middleton for topless photo scandal

The publication of topless photos of Kate Middleton have sparked outrage against the paparazzi by the royal family, the public and even the notoriously invasive British tabloids.

But Donald Trump says the Duchess of Cambridge has "only herself to blame" for the scandal.

"Kate Middleton is great--but she shouldn't be sunbathing in the nude," the Celebrity Apprentice host tweeted Sept. 17.

He went on to absolve the photographer who snapped the pics (using a telephoto lens while the princess sunbathed on a private villa in France):

"Who wouldn't take Kate's picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing," he added, finally addressing her as though the future queen of England as though he were exhorting one of his D-list reality-show contestants.

"Come on Kate!"
