Clint Eastwood 'probably would' do the empty chair routine again at RNC

Clint Eastwood's empty chair routine at the Republican National Convention didn't go over so well, but if you ask Eastwood, it's really not his fault.

"If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're gonna have to take what they get," he says during an interview with Extra.

During his widely panned RNC appearance, Eastwood had a "conversation" with an empty chair in which he pretended sat President Obama.

"People loved it or hated it and that's fine," he says. "That's what it was supposed to be."

So if he had it to do over, would he have done the whole empty chair bit again?

"I don't know, I never look backwards.," he says. "It's done and it's done. I probably would. I wouldn't be afraid of it."
