Christina Applegate reveals baby weight loss struggle on 'The Talk'

christina-applegate-324.jpgChristina Applegate gave birth to a baby daughter, Sadie, on Jan. 27, 2011, but she tells the ladies of CBS' "The Talk" that she still hasn't lost that pesky baby weight.

Babies are a familiar topic for the star of NBC's comedy "Up All Night," which returns for a second season this Thursday. And Applegate has no problem telling the "Talk" hosts that she "just transitioned out of the maternity jeans."

"Good for you!" co-host Sharon Osbourne pipes up. "What's the rush? That's what I always say."

"I'm working on two years and I haven't even lost all my weight," Applegate says. "Those girls that do, they're spending less time with their kids, sorry. Cause they're on a treadmill. I just wanted to hang out with daughter."

Co-host Sara Gilbert then wanted to make it clear that if anyone does happen to lose their baby weight fast, it doesn't necessarily mean they're neglecting their children. Applegate humorously clarifies she didn't mean to "offend skinny people."

In addition to "Up All Night," Applegate will soon be seen in the comedy sequel "Anchorman 2," due in theaters next summer.
