Chris Brown and Nicole Scherzinger photographed kissing or just talking really close?

Chris Brown and Nicole Scherzinger got very close Tuesday (Sept. 25) night at Los Angeles' Supperclub, but contrary to what one source says -- and some photos heavily infer -- the two were not kissing, says the former Pussycat Doll's rep.

"There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story ... The photos that have surfaced are old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club," Scherzinger's rep tells TMZ. "I guarantee there will be no photos of them kissing."

Browns rep similarly denies the reports.

A source inside the club, however, tells X17online.com, "They were dancing close for a while and being all touchy-feely and finally Chris leaned into her. She put her head on his shoulder and they started kissing! I couldn't believe Chris was being so obvious about it!"  

The site also ran photos of Brown leaning in and talking into Scherzinger's ear.

Brown has most recently been linked to model Karrueche Tran, however, the couple was rumored to have split this summer. Brown also stirred speculation that he was back on with ex-girlfriend Rihanna after the two shared a kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards in early September.

Scherzinger, meanwhile, is dating Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton.
