Charlize Theron dating Eric Stonestreet? No, says 'Modern Family' actor

Apparently the wild new couple rumor going around Hollywood is that "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet is dating actress Charlize Theron. Stonestreet tweeted early Sunday morning (Sept. 23), "I wish people would stop spreading rumors that Charlize Theron and I are dating. Its starting to make Halle Berry jealous."

Naturally, on the 2012 Emmys red carpet, Ryan Seacrest had to ask Stonestreet to clear things up.

"She was so cold to me this morning, just knife and fork on the plate. I was like, 'Halle, it's just a rumor,'" cracks Stonestreet, in reference to his tweet.

But in all seriousness, he says, "I would love to know [where it got started]. But that, for all of you watching at home in America, is the definition of our town. That I am rumored to be dating Charlize Theron."
