Carson Daly and Siri Pinter welcome baby girl Etta Jones

It's a girl for Carson Daly and longtime girlfriend Siri Pinter. While Daly's former MTV colleagues were partying at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, Daly and Pinter were busy welcoming a new baby girl into their lives. Etta Jones Daly is the second child for the couple, who have a 3-year-old son named Jackson James.

Daly and Pinter announced they were expecting a second bundle of joy in May. Pinter, a food blogger, was due on Sept. 8 but after eating a Los Angeles restaurant's magic salad on Wednesday (Sept. 5) -- the eatery claims the dish induces labor (it's a secret ingredient in the dressing, apparently)-- she began experiencing contractions. Guess it worked!

The radio and talk show host announced the happy news on his Facebook page, writing, "Tonight at 5:15pm we welcomed the latest addition to our family. Etta Jones Daly weighs 8lbs and is beautiful! Mom was a rockstar, Jackson James is a proud big bro, and dad's drinking a cold one. Praise God."
