Carrie Ann Inaba and Jesse Sloan call off engagement

"Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba has called it quits with her fiancé, Jesse Sloan, reports People.

The couple met via the online dating service eHarmony and became engaged in March 2011 after Sloan, an accountant, proposed to Inaba on "Live! With Regis and Kelly."

"They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends," said Inaba's rep.

"Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" debuts Sept. 24 on ABC.
