Box office: 'The Possession' and 'Lawless' repeat at the top
"The Possesssion" and "Lawless," which landed in first and second place at the box office during their first weekend of release, have managed to land on top again during the weekend of Sept. 7-9, 2012. The only new release to place in the Top 10, Bradley Cooper's "The Words," came in third.A cool $9.5 million went to "The Possession," while "Lawless" pulled in $6.0 million. "The Words" drew $5.0 million. Rounding out the Top 5 were "The Expendables 2" with $4.75 million and "The Bourne Legacy" with $4.0 million.

6. "Paranorman," $3.8 million
7. "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," $3.7 million
8. "The Campaign," $3.5 million
