Amanda Bynes pleads not guilty to hit-and-run charges
Amanda Bynes pleaded not guilty today (Sept. 27) to two misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run.
The troubled former actress, whose bizarre bevy of driving infractions also includes a DUI and two charges of driving on a suspended license, is due back in court Oct. 19.
She could face up to a year in jail for the hit-and-run charges, related to two separate accidents on April 10 and Aug. 4. She is awaiting trial on DUI charges related to an April 6 arrest.
Bynes is currently in New York City and did not appear in court today.
