Amanda Bynes' license suspended after hit-and-run car accidents

Bynes has gotten herself in a heap of trouble behind the wheel over the last few months: The 26-year-old actress was arrested on suspicion of DUI on April 6, to which she pleaded not guilty, and was recently charged with two misdemeanors related to hit-and-run incidents on April 10 and Aug. 4.

Bynes was also involved in an accident on May 5 but was only ticketed after she allegedly hit a parked car and exchanged information with the car's owner.

On Thursday (Sept. 6), DMV officials say Bynes' driver's license has been suspended but would not state the specific reason or when the suspension went into effect.

For her part, Bynes has denied the allegations against her.

Following her initial DUI arrest, Bynes tweeted a message to President Obama, writing, "Hey @BarackObama... I don't drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don't hit and run. The end."

She has since stripped her Twitter account of all posts.
