Actor Stephen Dunham Bowers dies at age 48

stephen-dunham-getty.jpgStephen Dunham Bowers, an actor who starred in several short-lived TV series, passed away Sept. 14 after suffering a heart attack several days prior, reports Variety. He was 48 years old.

The actor, who professionally goes by Stephen Dunham, starred on ABC's "Hot Properties," alongside Sofia Vergara and Gail O'Grady, and NBC's "DAG" alongside David Alan Grier. He also had a recurring role on "What I Like About You," starring Amanda Bynes and Jenny Garth.

On the big screen, Dunham had supporting roles in Steven Spielberg's "Catch Me If You Can" and Steven Soderbergh's "Traffic." He will also appear posthumously in the upcoming "Paranormal Activity 4" as the on-screen husband to his real-life wife, Alexondra Lee.

In addition to wife Alexondra, Dunham is survived by his parents and two siblings.
