2012 Emmys red carpet: January Jones goes Goth -- Gwyneth Paltrow style

As Betty Draper on "Mad Men," we're used to seeing January Jones in retro fashion.

But on the 2012 Emmys red carpet, she took us back to a moment in time no one wants to revisit: Gwyneth Paltrow's Gothic horror show at the 2002 Oscars.

Like Gwynnie, Jones overdosed on eyeliner more fitting for a Marilyn Manson concert than a Hollywood awards show. And her boyish slick-backed hair only draws more attention to those raccoon eyes.

The main difference between the two blond beauties' decades-apart homage to angsty teen girls is that Jones' Zac Posen isn't sheer above the waist.
