2012 Emmys red carpet best dressed: Kiernan Shipka for the win

There were many, many women on the 2012 Emmys red carpet that looked absolutely gorgeous, but we've narrowed down the list to five women we think really stood out.

Above, from left, you've got Ginnifer Goodwin in a dress with a wonderful vintage feel to it; Archie Panjabi looking stunning in bright blue; Kiernan Shipka in a shimmering tea-length dress; Jessica Pare rocking the white and Heidi Klum looking ethereal in light blue.

We think Kiernan Shipka wins the prize. It's hard to do the red carpet as a 12-year-old girl -- you don't want to look like a little girl, but you don't want to look too grown up and inappropriate either. We think Kiernan absolutely nailed it. Hope her dad's got the shotgun ready for when she starts dating.
