'2 Broke Girls' Kat Dennings sends up red alert at Emmys 2012

While she often costumed in an unbecoming polyester waitress uniform for her hit CBS comedy "2 Broke Girls," Kat Dennings went a much more glam route Sunday (Sept. 23) night at the Emmy Awards.

Dressed in a red carpet-matching, strapless J. Mendel Gown, Dennings was accessorized by her tiny waist, not-so-tiny bustline and sky-high gold Christian Louboutins.

"No matter what I do, [my boobs] are there, so what are you gonna do?" told E!'s Giuliana Rancic. "I looked in the mirror and I was like, 'Oh, god.'

"If I stand up too straight, there is a possibility," she admitted of a possible wardrobe malfunction taking place later in the evening. "So if I hunch, that's why. It's not because I have terrible posture. It's because I have a fear of things coming out."

As a back-up, Dennings' boyfriend, Nick Zano, had been "alerted" to the situation.

"He's always primed and ready," Dennings explained.

Season 2 of "2 Broke Girls" premieres Monday, Sept. 24 on CBS.
