Tony Scott death: Ridley Scott suspends 'The Counselor' filming following brother's suicide
In the wake of his brother Tony Scott's tragic suicide, director Ridley Scott has suspended production on "The Counselor" for a week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ridley Scott is reportedly traveling from London, where "The Counselor," is filming, to join the Scott family in Los Angeles.
Tony Scott jumped to his death from a bridge in Los Angeles Sunday, Aug. 20. The "Top Gun" and "True Romance," director, 68, was reportedly suffering from inoperable brain cancer.
"The Counselor," a drug thriller based on an original screenplay by Cormack McCarthy, stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Dean Norris and Rosie Perez
