Stevie Wonder files for divorce from Kai Morris

Iconic singer Stevie Wonder and his wife, Kai Millard Morris, are divorcing after 11 years of marriage, reports TMZ.

According to papers Wonder filed on July 26, Wonder and Morris have been separated since October 2009. The singer cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Wonder has requested joint custody of the couple's sons, ages 10 and 7, but has agreed to pay Morris spousal and child support.

The amount the couple will otherwise split has yet to be determined. Wonder, of course, amassed the majority of his fortune prior to wedding Morris in 2001.

The marriage to Morris was Wonder's second -- he was previously married to Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972.
