Scotty McCreery falls off the stage opening for Brad Paisley
"American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery had a bit of an accident over the weekend when he opened for Brad Paisley in Bethel, N.Y. The 18-year-old singer misjudged the width of a walkway and tumbled right off, mid-song -- "T.R.O.U.B.L.E."
Fast forward the video to the 8:14 mark to see for yourself. But McCreery rolls with it, literally -- he rolls back up on stage and keeps going like a champ. And thankfully, he was unhurt in the tumble.
McCreery even has a sense of humor about the whole thing, tweeting after the fall, "Dagum @BradPaisley pranked me again.. he narrowed up the stage on me for my last song..... @MeetTheCrowdNight #ImOK."
Heh. Paisley is known for being a prankster, but he probably didn't engineer the gaffe.
