Rufus Wainwright marries partner Jorn Weisbrodt

Singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright wed his longtime partner, Jorn Weibrodt, on Thursday (Aug. 23) at his home in Montauk, NY, the New York Post reports.

The couple exchanged vows in front of 250 guests including Yoko Ono, Carrie Fisher, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson and Julianne Moore before moving the party to the Clam Bar in the Hamptons at Napeague.

According to People, both Wainwright and Weisbrodt wore custom Viktor & Rolf Monsieur, and artist Justin Vivian Bond officiated the wedding. The Salome Chamber Orchestra and David Aron Carpenter performed during the ceremony as did Wainwright's sister, Martha Wainwright.

The couple, who got engaged in 2010, have an 18-month-old daughter, Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen, in a parenting partnership with Leonard Cohen's daughter, Lorca Cohen.
