Randy Travis naked when arrested on DWI suspicion - report

News broke Wednesday morning (Aug. 8) that just before midnight Tuesday, country singer Randy Travis was arrested in Texas on suspicion of DWI after crashing his Pontiac Trans-Am in a one-car accident.

Now TMZ is reporting that sources say Travis was completely naked when the police arrived at the site of the accident. The sources also say Travis refused a breathalyzer, so blood was drawn to determine his blood alcohol level.

Additionally, the Grayson County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ that once Travis was inside the squad car, he allegedly threatened to "shoot and kill the Troopers working the case." This threat led to an additional charge of "retaliation and obstruction," which is a felony.

Travis had a previous run-in with the law over alcohol. Back in February, the crooner was arrested for public intoxication when he was found sitting in front of a church in his car and allegedly drinking from an open bottle of wine.
