Phyllis Diller remembered by Rosie O'Donnell and other comedian friends

rosie-odonnell-phyllis-diller-twitter.jpgDuring an appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," Joan Rivers said that Phyllis Diller "broke the way for every woman comedian." Diller died Monday (Aug. 20) morning at the age of 95, and many of her comedian friends -- including Rivers -- took to Twitter shortly after the news broke to sing the funny lady's praises.

Rosie O'Donnell posts, "what a joy she was ..." along with a photo (above) of the two women hamming it up for the camera.

See what other celebrities like Dane Cook, Henry Winkler, Roseanne Barr and others had to say about the actress and comedian's passing.
