Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi in 'fierce' labor? Sounds like it.

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is pregnant and due any time now. In fact, she tweeted Friday (Aug. 24) that she is a "balloon waiting to pop."

That time may be upon us, gang. Time to welcome Snooki spawn into the world. Gawker got a tip that she is in labor in New Jersey, and then TMZ confirmed it. According to the Twitter account of Tiffany Wilson, Snooki is at St. Barnabas hospital in Livingston, New Jersey.

Snookie has so far remained mum on Twitter, except to say at 2:43 ET that she is "relaxing with [her] boo" and then at 7:07 ET she tweets, "Fierce" with the below picture of jungle cats.

This will be the first child for Snooki, who is engaged to the baby daddy, Jionni LaVelle (above).
