Lindsay Lohan banned from Chateau Marmont due to $46,000 bill
Lindsay Lohan can't seem to catch a break. Though she was recently cleared from the $100,000 jewelry theft allegations, the drama continues.
As it happens, Lohan racked up an unpaid tab of $46,350 at the Chateau Marmont hotel, and is now no longer allowed to step foot on the swanky Sunset Strip premises.
Yes, that's right. Lohan owes the hotel just over $46,000 -- a bill incurred over the course of 47 days, beginning with her stay there on May 30 for the filming of "Liz & Dick."
As reported by TMZ, hotel manager Philip Pavel notified Lohan of her debt on several occasions. In a letter directly addressed to her, he states:
"As we have made repeated attempts to resolve this pressing matter over the last few weeks without any resolution, I regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to extend any further credit for you to remain in the hotel."
The itemized bill includes $3,145.07 in minibar charges, $1,992.07 owed to the restaurant, and a cigarette charge of $686.
Lohan, meanwhile, contends the producers of "Liz & Dick" agreed to pick up the tab for her stay, and she's surprised at being cut off.
