Frank Ocean cancels Coldplay tour dates: 'A tough decision had to be made'
Coming off the hugely successful release of his album "Channel Orange," singer Frank Ocean has canceled a series of appearances, festival performances, and 10 European tour dates as support for Colplay."Let me start by saying I feel like an a--hole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour," Ocean says in an oddly released statement. "Sorry as f---, I'll be back if you'll have me."
Canceled dates include performances at Flow Festival in Finland, Pukkelpop in Belgium, Britain's V Festival, the Rock En Seine festival in Paris, and the Bestival in England.
No word on what the scheduling conflicts were that incited the change.
