Evelyn Lozada's brother-in-law Anthony Ochoa dies after battle with cancer

Amidst all the drama surrounding Chad Johnson's alleged head-butting of new wife Evelyn Lozada and their VH1 reality show being pulled from the air, Lozada's family has just been touched by a death in the family.

Anthony Ochoa, who was married to Evelyn's sister Sylvia for more than 10 years, passed away Monday night (Aug. 13) after a long battle with cancer, reports TMZ. Ochoa made several appearances on "Basketball Wives" over the years and would have appeared on the reality show about Evelyn's wedding to Chad Johnson as Ochoa was the man who escorted Evelyn down the aisle.

Evelyn tells TMZ, "Anthony was an amazing husband, father and brother-in-law. He will be dearly missed."

As we said, Ochoa, 43, and Sylvia had been married for over a decade. They had two children together.
