David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson dating rumors put to rest

Well, "X Files" fans, we wanted to believe, but alas it appears we were led astray. On Wednesday, a source told a celeb gossip website that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, who costarred on "X Files" and in all of your teenage fantasies, had found their way back to each other. Rumor had it that the duo were living together in Los Angeles as lovers.

Lovers!

Unfortunately, Duchovny's rep tells MSN that the rumors simply aren't true. Duchovny and Anderson aren't living together, as lovers or roommates or sex addict and sponsor. They remain, however, "good friends."

If anyone wants to talk some more about David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson totally doing it, I'll be in an AOL chatroom in 1996.
