Box Office: 'The Expendables 2' remains on top
After a good showing on Friday night (Aug. 24), conservative documentary "2016: Obama's America" slowed a bit and finished in eighth place. It also was not the top-grossing new release, as it was edged out by "Premium Rush."The box office leader was "The Expendables 2" at $13.5 million, which puts it over the $50 million-mark, followed by "The Bourne Legacy" and "ParaNorman." It was a slow box office weekend overall and it will probably stay that way until the Sept. 14 release of "Finding Nemo" in 3D, or perhaps the Sept. 21 release of "Dredd."
The full box office report:

"2016: Obama's America," $6.2 million
"Hope Springs," $6 million
