Billy Graham hospitalized but in stable condition

Evangelist Billy Graham was hospitalized over the weekend in Asheville, NC for a lung infection, reports the AP. He is currently being treated for bronchitis and remains in stable condition. Pulmonologist David Pucci says the infection is responding well to the treatment.

The 93-year-old has not had a date set for his discharge from Mission Hospital, but physicians are hopeful that the rapid recovery will continue and that he'll be headed home soon.

Graham has been previously hospitalized twice in the past two years for bouts of pneumonia, but his staff says his health has been good since his last release. He has recently been working on an upcoming book.
